Please Note: With the recent announcement of the Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) we at Hands Auction will be required to charge HST starting July 1st 2010 on items sold at auction (for Real estate HST will be applied to our Buyer's Premium only). The HST will be replacing the existing GST and PST in Ontario so instead of the breakdown on your invoice of 5% and 8%, as of July 1st 2010 it will appear as 13%. For a list of HST exemptions please visit the Canada Revenue Agency's website at www.crs-arc.gc.ca or www.ontario.ca/taxchange. As of July 1st we will not be able to accept OFA, BN or BIN tax numbers for exemption of a portion of the tax.
